HEART ATTACK PROVES FATAL TO ARNOVICH

Deceased Name: Morrie [Snooker] Arnovich

Superior, Wis., July 20 (AP) -- Morrie [Snooker] Arnovich, 49, sporting goods dealer and former major league outfielder, died at his home Monday following an apparent heart attack.

Arnovich saw service with the Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, and New York Giants during his eight years in the National League, and was a member of the championship Cincinnati team of 1940. He had been scheduled to take part in an old timers game as a feature of a reunion at Cincinnati Aug. 17.

Survivors include his widow.
